Freedom of speech as far as contemporary journalism in Egypt is concern

Egypt now a days is entering a new era of freedom; this freedom can be called in my opinion the chained freedom because although journalists can say their opinion, but they have a red line that they cannot pass it; although it is called HER MAJECTY but what I see is that journalists have a self censorship that they have created for themselves.
Newspapers throughout the Arab region face a number of obstacles, including 1-repressive media laws, 2-a lack of editorial independence and multiple commercial challenges.3- Journalists live under a constant threat of being physically harassed, attacked or even murdered. Also, 4- economic factors can be obstacles for the free of speech because you as a journalist cannot say what you want if what you will say may destroy the financial help for your newspaper.5-Salary also play role in the free of speech for journalists, they don’t say much of the truth because they don’t pay much.
Finally, we still have a lot to do to have this freedom of speech we wish for without any obstacles that stand against us. Journalism is the world of trouble and as a journalist you should know that well before entering this world.
